New Titles - Hot off the press!
Village Books of Southern Oregon is excited to announce that we’re expanding our selection to incorporate more brand-new books.
Why? Popular titles are often hoarded as “Shelf Trophies” which limits our ability to stay stocked with the quality content you crave. No judgement - we are one of you. By making space for our hand-selected titles we can better inflict our obsessions upon you offer quality recommendations with the stock to back them up.
But wait - we want it back!To encourage the return of these items into our circulation, we’re offering up to 25% of cover value back in trade credit when returned with proof of purchase, dependent on item condition. We hope this will offset some of the cost for initial purchasers, and increase our availability of cheaper used titles.
Yes, there’s a caveat. This inventory was purchased brand new directly from the publisher. It is likely we paid between 50-70% of the cover cost to acquire it. Meanwhile, we aim to maintain our new inventory pricing scheme at 75% of total cover cost. Because of this, trade credit may not be applied toward the purchase of these titles.
